Date Gone Wrong
Aaron and Catherine may have been roommates in college for just a few weeks, but that's all it took for them to warm up to each other. In no time, they became good friends, doing everything together. It didn't take long for Aaron to develop a crush on Catherine, and vice-versa. They had a more-than-friendly relationship that remained romantically ambiguous for much of their time together. They would watch movies together at night while Aaron massaged Catherine's feet after her soccer games. Tonight, Aaron wanted to finally ask Catherine out on a date and put on a romantic movie for them to watch together. He got back to the apartment early and started preparing a nice candle-lit dinner for the two of them, when he suddenly felt a strange sensation and passed out.
A few minutes later, he awoke to a dizzying headache and an incredibly oversized living room. It took a while for him to register what actually happened, and just how small he had inexplicably shrunk. Aaron stood no more than a couple millimeters tall in the center of the living room he was walking at his normal size moments ago. Around him was the immense expanse of his floor. Everything was so unreasonably huge, even a breadcrumb beside him was slightly bigger than his whole body. He was still processing all of this when he hearded the booming noise of the enormous apartment door opening, revealing Catherine's enormous figure entering.
Catherine had just gotten back from soccer and was exhausted. She dropped her bags on the floor, took off her shoes and socks, then went to the kitchen to get some water. Meanwhile, all Aaron could do was watch his comparatively massive friend and love interest shake the ground with her massive footsteps as she went out of view in the kitchen. He was so small, she wouldn't notice him. He knew he had to somehow get her attention, though. As he thought about how he'd do it, he heard her footsteps again, and they were getting louder. As he looked back at the kitchen, he saw that she was coming right towards him. He jumped and called for her, but it was all in vain, as she didn't even look down. He realized he was in a bad spot when he saw her move her right foot directly over him, eclipsing his sky and dropping on top of him. Aaron jumped towards the breadcrumb and lied down to avoid being compressing by her full weight, but her with the impact of her foot, her sole was still squeezing the life out of him. He suddenly felt lighter, and realized he was still alive. He was just stuck on her sole. Catherine took another step, pressing Aaron into the ground with her enormous foot before sitting down on the sofa and putting her tired feet up on the side.
Meanwhile, Catherine didn't notice a thing. She just took a few steps to the sofa, lied down, and propped her feet up, wondering where Aaron was. She was completely unaware that he was stuck to the bottom of her bare foot. All she was thinking was how her feet were so tired and sweaty from all the running she had been doing, and was eagerly waiting to get another foot massage from Aaron. He may have survived getting stepped on, but now he was glued to her sweaty feet and weakly trying to climb Catherine's foot with what little strength he had left. He was determined to get noticed by her, no matter what it took.

Worse ways to go
Allison had no idea that where her husband disappeared to, but it's already been 3 days, and she was worried for him. She didn't know he spontaneously shrank those few days ago and was only getting smaller. He kept on trying to get to his wife, but he was too small to be seen. He thought he finally got a lucky break when Allison took a seat near him in the bedroom to go through her phone. She placed her feet right beside him and absentmindedly rubbed her feet together. He ran for her feet, hoping she'd feel him, but as he was nearly there, he shrank again. That didn't stop him, and he kept moving closer to his wife's gargantuan bare feet. He tripped and his legs got tangled in the carpet floor, making it incredibly difficult to get out. He realized he was stuck and there was no way he'd be free now. He waved his arms madly and screamed, desperately trying to get her attention, but it was simply not possible at his size. That's when Allison shifted her toes a little to the side, completely covering his view with the underside of her toes. The distict musk of Allison's beautiful feet filled the air. It was all he could breathe now. He heard her sweet, familiar giggle, and suddenly she curled her toes, smothering him under the tips of her toes. She loosened her grip before he was about to suffocate. He was still just as stuck in the carpet, but now he was about to die smothered under his wifes gorgeous toes. He thought to himself, there are definitely worse ways to go. It only took a few more giggles and toe curls before he was turned into a smear, forgotten under her toes.
