In The Stairs

So during Iggy and Eyva's text messages, they often like to roll play, and one of their stories is set in the early 1920's.

So I'm going to take you all back in time, to the year 1924, where we find an unlikely relationship between two young men of different species. Now inter-racial relationships is bad enough in this time, but there was practically no tolerance at all for same sex relationships.

Iggy is pretty curious about his feelings towards other males, but poor Eyva... he's horrendously ashamed of the way he is. He feels sick, and he's tried so hard to run away from his feelings, but his heart wants the complete opposite. And every time he passes by that young iguana with the rolled up sleeves in the stairs, just looking at him reminds him what being in love really feels like. But he tries to act normal, or sometimes completely ignores him. And as Eyva walks away from him, his heart silently cries out, wanting more. Wanting Iggy.
Eyva feels about ready to give in to his feelings.....

Yea first digital work in black and white!! ^^
I've recently been fascinated by the age of 1920's and silent films. And this background was shot in the one and only Bradury Building. Probably one of the most beautiful masterpieces of architecture currently standing on this planet. I took a lot more photos of it, and I plan to use them in future pieces. But this particular photo was my favorite, mainly because the composition was so simple. Although its difficult to photograph a composition that isn't there yet. The photo without the characters is completely different.

And I feel like this whole thing fits well with a particular song..... It's sounds a bit sad, but had a romantic sound to it as well. and it happens to be from a silent film :3
