Well Done, Walking Dead, Well Done

Walking Dead fans will relate.

I think most fans of horror media will agree that kid characters aren't that great. They're often small, weak, helpless and whine and while you may be able to look past that in real life, you are incredibly tempted to let the wailing stone around your neck die as they constantly cause you a game over.
And then we got Clementine... I fucking love this character! She is a very realistic eight-year-old girl with a wonderful personality and she's scared as hell as any kid would be, but she's also smart, resourceful, incredibly useful to the plot and can even outwit zombies on her own if she has to. She earns her pound of flesh and as a result, whenever she is actually in danger, you dive right in front of the zombies to save her. Not because you don't want a game over, but because you genuinely don't want this character to get hurt. Telltale games, take a bow.
