Oh... my... *wipes at tears* I was close to losing myself in this scene, my dears. Aro's face-- particularly when they destroyed Jane so maliciously-- was heartbreaking. It was so beautiful, yet so terribly sad.

This song is one of my utmost favorites by Within Temptation. It portrays the Volturi to perfection. I can almost hear Aro speaking that line: "I believe it would justify the means. It had a hold over me."
