Emerging from the frame

Mariaamanda had spent a lifetime hanging on the wall of her Gothic Castle in the land of Leman. Frustration pounded the inside of her head as she struggled to release herself from the slithering, dark and evil tentacles which held her in place. MAriaamanda was as old as the castle itself, a dark witch who was as old and dark as the father of evil. Having thought for several centuries of how to escape, she realised that using her dark powers would only strengthen the tentacles and confine her to her prison for ever. However, one day BigA-nt, who had been living in her Castle for the last 38 years, saw the picture on the wall and using his knowledge of good and evil, light and dark, ying and yang, and a bit of arcane magic, he released Mariaamanda from her eternal bondage, freeing her from her hated prison. Mariaamanda was of course so pleased that the first thing she did (after thanking BigA-nt profusely for his help) was to run down to the beach and mark her return with The Eternal Fire! ([link]) A symbolic celebration of her new found fredom!
