So, this is probably going to be the last in the series. When I was younger, pre-school, I had the small bedroom at the back of the house and in a small village close to open woodland and countryside the sounds of the night outside my window were pretty scary to say the least and this is what I kept expecting to see there.
Most kids only have the monster under the bed, I had this too. I think it all stemmed from the picture on a book cover but sometimes even now when the dark closes-in I get that feeling back again, the unknown lurking just out of sight!
