:back in the 80's
there were a lot of Japanese car makers which incorporated spaceship or airplane influenced designs in some of their models...
one of the quirkiest....was the Subaru XT6 (Alcyone)
that was also when Subaru was making even quirkier designs..
(not talking about it's successor, the Alcyone SVX...)
this car was sold in low numbers...and during a time Subaru was not yet known for sportiness...
