It can also be considered semi-canon fanart of Ahadi and Uru, parents of Mufasa and Taka, with Audrey Cosmo credited for the designs.
I just reeeeeeeeealllly wanted to draw a family portrait of infant Mufasa/Scar with their parents Ahadi/Uru. In regards to the Mufasa film, I am with the millions of others who just take it as an AU from the original films. I still don't like that film, despite trying.
And of all of the fanficts out there, AudreyCosmo has my favorite story regarding the exact origin of the famous two brothers and she just wrapped a MASSIVE arc with this comic that has been ongoing since 2008?!?!?!?!
If some of you are new to the site / tlk fandom, I'd highly recommend you read this spiraling comic that is literally touching every shadow of a plot hole out there. I think I've re-read the thing like 3 times now, and she is stillll goinnnnnng!
